New Carts In!
Our new golf carts have started to arrive! We have taken delivery of 10 new carts, and we are receiving a total of 26 new carts by the middle of May.
The carts are Club Car 2012 Precendent model carts, and they are wonderful!
We thank you for your patience with our old carts as we transition to the new ones. The old carts contained a manufacturer's defect that affected battery life. Please let the pro shop know if you have a problem with your cart during this transition period.
Wednesday Senior Scramble
All players age 50 and above are welcome to play in the Wednesday Senior Scramble at Alvin Golf & Country Club. Tee off is at 9:00 am; sign up by 8:30. Full breakfast and a $5.00 lunch special is available.
Golf Course Memberships
Alvin Golf & Country Club has the best discount golf memberships in the greater Houston area. You, and your dependents, can play golf and swim all day for $2.83 per day—or less! You also receive discounts in the grill, on special orders, on tournaments, and on banquet room rental. Tournaments are limited so that you can golf most days and times on the spur of the moment.

Our members and guests compare the condition of our course to high-priced golf courses, but our greens fees are among the lowest of Texas discount golf courses, making us the best public golf course in the greater Houston area.

Banquet Room Special—$100 Off
Rent the Alvin Golf & Country Club banquet room for any Sunday – Friday and receive $100 off the normal rental fee! The banquet hall is available for weddings, receptions, parties, showers, and meetings. We have audio/visual capabilities, Wi-Fi, a covered patio with smoker grill, a swimming pool, and a wooded park that are all included with rental.

Extra services are available, including formal tablecloths, chafing dishes, a moonwalk, and even your own private server. You can bring your own food and drinks, or we cater!
Normal banquet room rates are $200 for the first hour and $25 for each additional hour. For a limited time, if you book and pre-pay for an event for any Sunday – Friday, your first hour is only $100! Not valid for Saturday rentals or pool or party packages. You must pay in full when you book the room to receive the discount. Other fees may apply. See the Banquet Hall page for details.
