Rent the AGCC Banquet Room for Weddings, Parties, and Meetings

The Alvin Golf & Country Club banquet room and adjoining areas serve 75 – 114 people. The venue includes a dance floor, tables, chairs, free Wi-Fi, and attached, covered patio with smoker grill. A swimming pool, outdoor park, butler's pantry with included ice, and presentation equipment are available.

We are currently accepting reservations a maximum of six weeks in advance.

The Venue

Room capacity varies; if all of your guests are to be seated at once, the room comfortably accommodates 72 – 75 guests with space for a DJ, band, or conference presenter. If your guests will be mingling, dancing, not seated at the same time, or with some guests inside and some outside on the adjoining covered patio, the space can accommodate 100 guests. If you include the snack bar annex on your rental, you can add an additional 40 – 44 seated guests.

The banquet room sports a 10' x 12' dance floor surrounded by parallax mirrors on two walls to encourage your guests to put on their boogie shoes. If your event is not suited for mirrors (such as a meeting or formal event), we have optional ivory drape available to cover them for the entirety of your event. The drape adds a formal look to the venue and is great as a photo backdrop.

The maximum number of guests that we accept, if you rent the banquet room and the snack bar annex for the entirety of your event, is 114. This number ensures that everyone has a seat in case of inclement weather or other eventualities.

The floor is covered in dark hunter green, extremely low-pile, commercial carpeting and easily accommodates dancing in heels, even off of the dance floor. The chairs are standard, padded banquet chairs in dark burgundy.

Tables, Chairs, and Tablecloths

The rental includes the tables and chairs, which are both in excellent condition and do not require coverings. The tables are 3' x 3' square, a size that allows you to arrange them into any configuration that suits your event.

Presentations are a breeze with our 80 x 80 projection screen and free Wi-Fi. Your choice of recessed spot lights, fluorescent lighting, or both give you options throughout your conference. A natural-wood podium with ivory drape add style to your meeting.


We are always booked for birthday parties, graduation parties, reunions, baby showers, holiday parties, anniversaries, and retirement parties.

Tea Party at Alvin Golf & Country Club


We provide all-inclusive keg service, including the tap, ice, and bucket. There is no extra tap, delivery, or pick-up charge. You don't have to worry about picking up or dropping off your keg when you are busy planning—or recovering from—your party. We handle everything!
