The Alvin Golf & Country Club banquet room and adjoining areas serve 75 – 114 people. The venue includes a dance floor, tables, chairs, butler's pantry with free ice, AV hookups, and free Wi-Fi. A swimming pool, moonwalk, and outdoor park are available.

Rent the swimming pool for pool parties; add the moonwalk for fun; or include a golf package with your meeting or party to make your event a unique success. Brides love us for weddings, receptions, and showers.
We allow you to use outside catering, or you can bring your own food and drinks.
“I had my wedding at the most spectacular place at a more than reasonable price! We held the ceremony outside with such gorgeous scenery surrounding us! The reception was a couple of yards away, in the banquet hall Alvin Golf and Country Club provides. It truly was the wedding of my dreams! The staff was so very helpful and kind. A member of the staff even drove my elderly grandmother around in a golf cart, to get her to the ceremony and reception! Everything was so pristine and perfect! The dressing areas were bright and big enough for our entourage's to dress us. The banquet hall is beautiful with windows and glass doors to marvel at the beautiful landscaping. The covered patio area provided plenty of space for all our guests to have the option to be inside or out. I can't get over how many picturesque places there were! As bride and groom, we kept wanting to leave the party to walk around for all the photo opportunities! I am ever grateful to Karen and Pat, for the amazing effort they put into making my special day perfect. 6 months later, I am still floating in the clouds, reminiscing how absolutely perfect my big day was. Room capacity varies; if all of your guests are to be seated at once, the room comfortably holds 72 – 75 guests with space for a DJ or band. If your guests will be moving around, dancing, not seated at the same time, or with some guests inside and some outside on the adjoining covered patio, the space can accommodate 100 guests. If you add the snack bar annex to your rental, you can add an additional 40 – 44 seated guests.
The banquet room sports a 10' x 12' dance floor surrounded by parallax mirrors on two walls to encourage your guests to put on their boogie shoes. If your event is not suited for mirrors (such as a formal event or a meeting), we have optional ivory drape available to cover them for the entirety of your event. The drape adds a formal look to the venue.
The maximum number of guests that we accept, if you rent the banquet room and the snack bar annex for the entirety of your event, is 114. This number ensures that everyone has a seat in case of inclement weather or other eventualities.
The floor is covered in dark hunter green, extremely low-pile, commercial carpeting and easily accommodates dancing in heels, even off of the dance floor. The chairs are standard, padded banquet chairs in dark burgundy.
Tables, Chairs, and Tablecloths
The rental includes the tables and chairs, which are both in good condition and do not require covers. The tables are 3' x 3' square, which allows you to arrange them in any configuration that suits your event.

We have optional, formal, white tablecloths to complete your polished look. Many guests on a budget buy colored plastic tablecloth rolls from the party store to cover the tables if it suits their decorating plans.
We have four, large, commercial chafing dishes available for you to rent, and we provide the Sterno.
